As far as I know the world has not ended.....

I've often wondered what happens to people who predict the end of the world and are wrong. What happens the next day when they have to face all their friends, family and colleagues who they spent the day before telling them exactly what they think of them.

Even if they're right - it's not like they can go around saying "I told you so!!"
